We’re here to help!

ITS Help Desk is to serve as the first point of contact for students, faculty, staff and others seeking assistance with BTC's Technology Services. The ITS Help Desk technicians will work to resolve your issue upon first contact. In the event we are unable to resolve your issue, we will escalate and/or redirect your issue/request to the appropriate Technology services support.

Contact the ITS Help Desk for: password assistance, technology support, BTC apps, connecting to the Wi-Fi and more.

When contacting the ITS Help Desk it is recommended to:

  • Provide as much detail as possible.
  • Know your 9-digit BTC ID number.
  • Include screenshots when applicable (especially when errors are appearing).
  • Let us know all symptoms or any error messages.
  • Provide exact steps to reproduce the issue.
  • Include any troubleshooting already completed.
  • Date/Time the issue occurred.

Some common troubleshooting steps the ITS Help Desk technicians might ask:

  • If the issue is occurring in a browser, were the Cache and Cookies cleared using Time range setting of "All time" and then the browser restarted?
  • Are you using Google Chrome as your browser? (recommended).
  • Was an incognito window attempted?
  • If the issue has to do with logging in, have you tried logging in on other devices?
  • Was the device restarted?

Monday - Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

ITS Help Desk Summer Hours:

Monday - Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
